OBC range not accurate?

Right, on my 13 button OBC a few things obviously aren't working properly.

Firstly, the temp reading will change but it's not accurate, generally reading maybe 13 or 14 degrees celcius etc. when it's actually about 24, 25 or 26 etc. degrees outside.

Secondly, the range isn't accurate. It generally says there is maybe 35 kilometers worth left in the tank, and stays around this even when I half fill the tank, etc..

Any ideas as to the problem?

Let me guess ... you just replaced it with another one, right? If so, you forgot to check if the coding plug is the same as your cluster .... There are many types and I currently have two different types of coding plugs as spares for the 13 button OBC.

It was in the car when I bought it and from the spec of the car I'm thinking it was standard from the factory. The rest of the functions seem to work ok though?

For the temp. Check the outside temp sensore in the drivers brake duct. If it is not there or hangind down that is your issue.

The range can be adjusted by removing the plug on the lower left side of the obc and then turn the screw in the hole to the right until it shows approx 7 liters when the low fuel light is on or 32 liters when at a half a tank. To see the actual fuel level press the 100 and 1 button with the key in the run position car on or off.
If neither of these work then the unit or plug have gone bad.
