oil leak filter/filter housing area

someone told me there was a kit to fix a leak in this region. Whoever it was i need to know where to get the kit and/or exactly what it is. My car is losing a ton of oil. i think it was something about a valve but i kind of forget.

It helps to know details about your car..........

but, if you have a 6 cyl E30 with oil cooler, you probably are looking for #11 42 9 059 338 which is a service kit that repairs the o-ring + piston in the oil filter head. Check with any of the online BMW parts places, or the dealer- it should not be too expensive.
