For those of you who went to stainless Steel Brake Lines!!!!

How in gods name did you break loose the inner rear lines from the hard lines going to the front of the car??

I have a 11mm flare wrench to hang onto the hardline side, but i cannot get a 14mm wrench in there (subframe is in the way).

I have a set of metric crows foot that i'm going to try tomorrow, but how did you guys do it? I don't wan tto cut the lines and throw a deep socket over it, in case i can't get it off, i can just replace the rubber inner lines later.

I'm hoping a 14mm crows foot with an extension will do it, if the room is there.

Why does BMW ALWAYS do that? It's like the inner control arm bushing nuts. The built the car around those nuts. Shit, you have to remove the rear seat to at those freakin nuts (sarcastic)...

    Thanks guys...
    Nick

you could lower the subframe a little. Just unbolt the brackets and the nut on the pin below and set the subframe on an axle stand or jackstand.

I cant get uppety, I PAID to have those done while my car was in for a pre race inspeciton.
    Im now E30less.
