The battery dies once a week and I have to put it on a charger. The alternator is putting out power. any suggestions?

The three most likely possibilities are:

1) The battery isn't holding a full charge due to age or sulfation of the plates.
2) The alternator is weak and isn't fully charging the battery.
3) There's a problem in the electrical system that is causing excessive parasitic draw (the current drawn when the car is off).
