e36 a/c comp in an e30

I had no trouble geting the larger of the two hoses that go to the compressor made, but the smaller one could not be doen because of the different OD of the hoses, he said the crimp may not hold.

I was told once that the 318is small hose will work with the e36 compressor and e30 condensor. anyone verify this? any other method

Hey bro. Be careful about asking someone a question (especially an authority on the subject) and then turning around and asking the exact same question discounting the advice from the first person. Its insulting to the person who answered your question and is wasting thier time.

There are a bunch of people who used to do that to me about things I had done and would then turn around and ask the forum the same exact question. I just started saying "I dont know" to everything they would ask me from then on.

If someone like Bryson or StuMC answers a question on the swap confidently (meaning they dont go "I think it might") then run with it.
