So with the ecu I had in before, with a conforti chip, the idle would start out at 1500rpm, and remain like that until I drove a bit, then it would drop to 1000, then to normal at normal operating temperature. I swapped ecus back to mine with a mark d chip, and this time on start up it idled high, but went away as soon as I started to drive, and moved to a slight fluctuation. If I drive any distance, then stop, it fluctuates up and down between 550 and 900 or so, and settles down after about 3 fluctuations.
Any idea what this could be? I was thinking maybe ICV or TPS, the ICV was cleaned recently, and I don't want to replace it if I don't know it's bad. TPS I don't think has been replaced, but would it cause such a problem? I know it's not a vacuum leak.
