What do you think about these??

215/40/16 in the front and 245/35/16 in the rear - Toyo TR-1
only problem is that they are an inch shorter than the recommended stock height...

    or

should i go with a more factory size???

wheels are the new esm staggered 16x7.5 et20/16x9et10...of course when they come in that is.

how do you guys feel about that?

open to the stretched euro dudes and also the guys that like meat on there wheels

    comments, suggestions...

Why would you purposefully get tires that were too short? If you want stretched, why not just narrower tires, not shorter.

I would not go more than an inch, you might enjoy doing this. I forget what my overall diameter is, but I think my 205-50-15 should come in at "almost" an inch shorter than the factory tire sizes. You get a decent gearing advantage, improving accel. I was chirping third almost immediately after going this 1" short tire setup. Your ground clearance will suffer, so be careful. Fuel economy, didn't really notice much of a dent in my pocket, from filling up the ole' e30, but I don't think I ever have either way....

How would decreasing tire size improve acceleration?:???: Sure there's less rotating mass, but with an overall smaller diameter, you're traveling less distance when your wheels are rotating at the same rate.

Because the lever (distance from hub to ground) is shorter, you get more effective torque, thus faster acceleration.

Yes, more effective torque, but smaller circumference that you have to make up for
