    Wipers are stuck ON

Anyone know which relay to check, I think it's stuck "on" and I want to swap it out with a different one to check. I pulled the fuse today to get it to stop, really annoying otherwise. With the stalk in the off position just driving down the road the wipers just started to go on and I couldn't turn them off.

    Anybody with a similar experience? 1991 318is....

Your wiper relay is the large black one in the fuse block, iirc.

take out the relay, whack it against your hand a couple times, put it back in. i had the same exact problem while iw as at bimmerfest last year, just had to take out the relay and smack it around, been fine for the last 2 yrs.

Had something like this happen to me today. The wiper spray thing on the hood started spraying without me touching it, and stayed on for 5 min before magically fixing itself.

Haha E30s fixing themselves...my idle problem fixed itself after a few heat cycles.
