Fuel starvation under hard lateral acceleration???

I have been noticing when I am taking a fast, long, and hard turn, like at an autocross or the "turn-arounds" on the freeway, I have been noticing a lack of power coming out of the turn.

Then I thought, it only happens when I am turning right, and the fuel pump is on the right - hence all the fuel is slamming to the left side of my tank.

I find it only happening with my fuel tank is about half full or less.

Is there a cure for this without my car having a full tank??? I am afraid to push it anymore like that b/c the engine is running too lean under that much g's and no fuel - running way too hot.

Any suggestions, comments would be a big help.

This isn't an uncommon problem. The cheap solution is to run with more fuel in the tank. Yes, that adds weight, but there's about 30lb or sound deadening tar in the trunk which is about the same weight as 5 gal of gas. So if you remove the tar you can run with more fuel and be at the same weight.

Mine also does the OIL starvation on the long right-hand turns.... not fun. But at least for that you can add an oil pan baffle.

A crank scraper solves that. I've had good results with both the IE and IJ units. The IJ scraper looks to be a better design, either works.

im gonna experiment with a baffle/accumulator around the fuel pump eventually.
