    Cold start injector.

I was wondering if running without a cold start injector will make start-up a big deal?
Has anyone disconnected there cold start just to see what happens?
I was told that it's only needed in freezing weather and since I'm in southern california that means I don't need one, right?

I don't know if this makes a diffrence but I have an Eta and the injector is on the back of the manifold.. I don't know where the 325i one is though.
    Thanks.

The word "cold" refers to the engine temperature, not ambient temperature.

if the car has ran in the last few hours it will start fine, if its been sitting overnight it won't start.

The ECU Pulses the cold start injector based on engine temperature, once it fires the ecu starts normal injector operation.

the I engines simply pulse the injectors to do a cold start
