    Electrical demons on 88 vert

    Hey guys,

I"ve been over at bimmerforums for awhile but wanted to pose a question to the e30 crowd.

I have a 88 vert with 149k. The car was given to me after this MLIF/Cougar spent about 4k on the car- shocks, motor mounts, a/c, etc. She got a divorce and decided she did not want the car anymore.

    So I took it.

I replaced the HG, milled the head. Swapped ICV, new Behr radiator, new intake baffles, new therm housing etc. Waiting on temp sensor since its running rich and hopefully this will take of it. Not sure.

OK so when I picked the car up at the shop they had diagnosed an electrical problem under the dash. Also the blower stays on when the key is off. Should not do that. So I changed out the blower motor. I un hook the battery when its parked.

I need to start troubleshooting this problem.

Options are to take the dash off and check every thing.
Take only the heater controls out and check that
    Not sure yet.

One person said if it has an after market radio installed that might be the source since these cars have positive ground and they might of F'ed up.

So anyone have experience with troubleshooting electrical issues?

These cars do not have positive ground.

Does the fan switch physically feel like it's moving to a new 'notch' when you put it to 0?

Hmm. Pull out relay K7 with the car off, blower on. Blower stop?
