Once in a while, car would turn-over, but won't ignite.

    Hi,

I have a problem where once in a while my car won't start-up. The key would turn-over, but then the car would die, and all the lights on my dash turns on. It would help when i press on the accelerator as I'm turning the key.

This usually happens after I go for a drive, stop for a few hours, and try to start-up. Doesn't happen during the first start of the day (not too often).

    Thanks for any advice.

My first step would be to swap out the fuel relay then check for fuel pump pumping. sometimes they become heat sensative--work ok cold but once warmed up--go kaka.
