Whining sound coming from front end

    Hi guys,

Didn't really know in which category to put this in. It started couple days ago, when i speed up over 40 mph i hear this whining sound coming from the front end like in the engine bay, it stays steady if i keep my foot on the pedal or on the freeway, as i come to a stop the whining sound stops, then again as i accelerate. What could it be, any ideas, fan clutch, alternator? Thanks

    wheel bearing

I would say wheel bearing too but if it stops when you let off the gas then I would think something motor related.

Took the car for a spin with my dad, we listened carefully and he said the whine is coming most likely from the passenger side front wheel, probably the bearing, i will check it out further on the weekend.
