    735il starting up....

ok please don't tell me that i just fucked up my engine.....the car been sitting for almost 4weeks, it has 10W40 oil in it, well i thought why not, lets start it up, it did fire from the first try, but after like 4seconds the "low oil pressure" light came on...i got scared and turned it off..its -18C outside, and the car was sitting in a garage( not heated) so i am guessing its somewhere around -13 in the garage. so did i harm my engine or somthing like that??? it wasn't even running for like 20seconds.

then i turned it off, took the battery out(what a PITA, under the rear seats).

so do you think my engine is over??? i hope not:(

At that temperature your oil probably wasnt oiling very well. I would still think it would be fine, but then again the coldest weather I'll see all year here is 0 degrees Celsius during the day. I would have let it run for a bit longer to see if it built pressure after the oil got a bit of heat into it, but then again, you would be risking a bit more doing that. I just wouldnt mind killing a motor.

I highly doubt your engine is hurt.
