5-speed swap tomorrow!!!! wish me luck

It's that time!!!!!! can't FUCKING WAIT!! :p Wish me luck guys! I've been gathering parts for 1.1 years, I've got all new shit gathered, now just gotta put it in. I'm starting at 6am and hopefully will be done by 5pm. You think that's doable? I think so!

if you got all your ducks in a row I dont see it taking any longer then 5 hours.
If you have a lift and power tools. 2.5 max.

Make sure you have the correct tools for the trans bolts and a 3 foot ex to get up in there.

x2 on the exetension. you can loosen the motor mounts so the trans will tilt further back, making it easier to get to the bolts. My buddy and i did a 5speed swap in a night. Its easy dont sweat it.

You can make this a much easier task by disconnecting the motor mounts, lifting the front of the engine, and allowing the rear to droop. Makes for a lot more room above the transmission.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
