    easy one probably!

how do you remove the stock gas pedal from the bottom of the car...

Pull really fucking hard, and hope it doesnt break.

There is no easy way if the carpet is in. It has little clips that clip into a slot in the floor, and there is no way to poke them in with the carpet in the way.

OK!!!! :!: :!: I pulled the carpet out and i had some dry mud it seemed, no rust apparently so I'm good on that...cleaned it out pretty good and felt around (had bad lighting) but did't see any tabs or any other fastener...can't really look at it until the weekend. I saw three little slots on the front but I stuck a little flathead screw driver and nothing...we'll see

So you have to pull the carpet out to put a new pedal in?
Just broke mine the other night, gotta get a new one.

Any more on this? Got the car with no pedal in it - just an aftermarket cover zip tied to the throttle lever. REALLY don't feel like pulling the carpet.

you dont have to pull any carpet. Just rip out the broken one who cares if you break and the other one clips in
