    Spark Plug question

    Call me crazy but i thought i read somewhere on here plantinum tipped spark plugs were actaully not very good for M20 or older bimmer engines. Am I crazy???

    No you aren't crazy. The majority of people here run the regular OEM replacement Bosch plug.

      Isn't the copper plugs the ones the put out the best spark?

        Bosch Super spark plug is what I've heard recommend and have been using with success.

        $2.99 each including shipping and using our discount @ BMA, for me at least. Maybe different distance *might* have different price.

        Better than fucking $8.91 each at Stealership. Hell, even if with employee discount it's a rip off.

            You need bosch supers. Platinums will run like shit in any old BMW, not just M20.

                dayum!!! dealer has bosch w8lcr sp for 2.00 each... i dunno where u come up with $$8.91. wow...

                  You're going to hear this argument alot, but I've been using Platiniums for a while with success. I will go back to supers after these die. Someone on Unoffical reported MPG gains with these plugs, so that might be something to look at.

                    i have platnum 2's and they work fine.... cost about $4 each.... when i replace them i think i iwll get the supers
