Here is a nutty one for you...

So yesterday I was drivin around after me and the gf left Ikea, and as Im sitting at a light on a slight hill, as the light turns green, I feed the clutch out a bit much and almost stall the car...

I caught it just in time, but the battery lights and the oil pressure light had come on (it had conked out, but at the last second it caught and started running again), but in the process of this happening, the fan quit, and I lost ALL my gauges and light functions except for the speedo.

The car was running perfectly up to this point. My bently is at home (im in NJ at my gf's place). I checked all the fuses last night, and all are good. Relays I checked as well.

Is the fan and the gauge cluster connected somewhere? I was thinking that at such a low engine speed before it stalled, I thought I would have popped a fuse or something because I was drawing a lot of load (the rear defrost was on too)

The headlights still work, rear defrost and hazards work, but the only lights that come up when the key is turned on is the ABS and the battery light.

I have a weird feeling that the stupid SI board is causing half the issue...Im goin to borrow my friends garage today and swap the board and while im in there(mine has been busted for some time), check the climate control wiring. I really hope I didnt burn something, as its snowing right now and I have no heat in the car!!

found the problem...one of the 7.5A fuses was blown, but the wire in it looked to be in one piece, until I checked it with a pick and it was actually hanging on by a hair. Replaced it, and the blower works but one of the bearings seized up, causing it to blow the fuse again.
