I'd really appreciate any help to figuring out my heater woe's. Currently my heater will go cold or warm'ish depending on where i set the temp dial. It blows fine, just luke warm if on full heat. Would this be a heater valve? Sub zero temps are wearin me out so any help is appreciated......thanks!

Yeah, heater valve under the dash, or the auxiliary thermostat in the heater hose at the rear of the head. If that's it, you can delete it with different (original and correct...) hoses. Maybe also check the cable in the HVAC control.

Is the engine reaching and maintaining normal temperature?

ya engine is running great, and is a fresh rebuild/stroker....temp is fine.

In that case I'd suspect that you might have air in the cooling system, which will tend to settle out in the heater core and limit flow.

if you have flow, its most likely the valve, i had the same symptoms as your and valve fixed her right up. :)
