    Rough Starts

Recently, my car has been starting really rough.
As I turn the key, the engine turns for a while before it starts, and sometimes, it dies right away but starts immediately the second time I turn the key.
I've replaced the plugs, wires, fuel filter, cleaned the throttle body and plate, and am waiting for my new distributor cap/rotor set to arrive in mail this week.
I'm thinking of replacing the coil as well, but before spending more money, I want to know what the problem is.
    What could it be?

    Thanks in advance

More information is needed...Is it hard to start even after the car is warmed up or only when the engine is cold? Once started and running for more than a few minutes does it randomly die or not? I would say if it's hard to start whenever and or will randomly die it may be your fuel pressure regulator or fuel pump. If it's only a cold start problem I'd check your temp-time switch, temp sensor(s), and/or cold start injector. I'm sure some others on here will have some more options.

Well, she starts rough pretty much all the time, cold or warm. I've never had a stall issue. Only last night, as I started the car, it took an extra long crank to start and died immediately. But started right up the second time.
One other thing is that it's experiencing hesitation now. As I strat to give the gas, there is sometimes a sudden hesitation and it caused my girlfriend to spill her coffee. It was like a hickup.
It's been happening more often now. But the car has never stalled behind the red light and the idle is quite stabble (with very slight play). I've checked for vacuum leaks and its all good.
I don't want to go and spend a bunch of money on a new fuel pump before knowing for sure.
