    Gas leak

OK, so the front of my car has been on jackstands for 3 weeks due to some minor setbacks and it is finally down on the ground and driveable again. When I started the car up and sat at idle for about 15 seconds my friend noticed a gas leak right at the fuel filter.
I got out of the car and looked under and it was leaking above the fuel filter. There are 2 lines above it and one of the lines in wrapped in some kind of foam and the foam is very saturated with gas.
I pulled the seat out and took off the lid and everything was dry where the pump was and those lines but that is only looking at a 12" space.
Is anyone experienced with removing the whole tank? I think I might have to do this. Please say I dont have to take off the driveshaft again.

those lines run along the top of the tank. Chances are the clamp is loose. Should be in plain sight from under the car. If not.. have fun dropping the tank.

Its not that bad, but you will have to drop the driveshaft exhuast etc.
