If your cooling system is in good shape otherwise, that's no problem.

how should I bypass the core? should I use some tape and tape the pipes together or what?

tried so hard to fix it today but still leaking/no heat =(

you will need something the same diameter as the inlet/outlet to slide both hoses onto and clamp. Lots of pressure going through there.

lmfao on the tape. go to a hardware store and get a coupling of the right diameter to fit the id. of the hoses. can't remember what size those hoses are exactly something close to 1 5/8'' maybe that seems to ring a bell.

as far as coolant goes if you have green thats two year coolant replace with green there is also red coolant available which is good for 5 years, up here in canada we have soem purple shit that is supposed to be universal coolant i dunno if u guys have that there or not. all coolant is compatible with aluminium afaik. as long as it gets replaced at the right time intervals it won't become acidic and attack it. the coolants you got in the pic are 50/50 mix and straight coolant. in the pic you have 50/50 mix and straight anti-freeze, some people put straight anti-freeze in, you're supposed to mix anti-freeze 50/50 but running straight anti-freeze aint a bad thing the freeze point isnt as low and the boiling point is lower than 50/50 i think as long as there is anti- freeze to keep it from freezing your good.
