oh yea, i've looked into the costs of all those things, but from the research i've done most people dont really fry much like the ecu/starter. most things i've heard go are the fuses, fusible links and alternator. i have no problem buying those things. just trying to get a deal and hoping to just fix the problem, start the car and drive off :D

well it turns out its more than the fusible link. it turns out the alternator and starter went out as well, not sure what else could've though so we told the guy we would think about it. Even though it wasnt starting, it was a hell of a deal and the interior was MINT as hell!

How bad was the rust? I thought about going to look at it but would have probably tried to trade them the scooter they wanted instead of cash. If you are still looking for one there are a few options if you're willing to travel, check out WI and MI.Comment

yea the driver side was the bad side. rust on the rocker panel, fender and door i believe. the other side wasnt that bad but then again it was dark outside. Im still pretty interested but i had to put away money for my court fees i have to pay for($575. no insurance+no license=no good) and i know the alternator and starter are fried and maybe more...Comment
