Electrontics - how do you plan to tie the motor into the car?

Exhaust clearence - Footwells migh have to be cut and rewelded (or banged the hell out of) to get the exhause to fit.

my advice - find a friend that speaks german and hit up e30.de (crazy f-ing germans, if my mom had a lot of horse power they would stick her under the hood)

I dont know how to add the url but copy paste that link its a sound clip, anyway I plan on getting the motor in with custom mounts or from the crazy german guy on that website tino, if he makes em first. I have talked to him and hes helpful but is only about half way through the project himself...

I would go with the m62 block and m60 heads, I think they work together, that way you will end up with 4.4 liters! You will also want the pre 96 DME and injection system ect. to keep it OBD1. I think the 540 manifolds do not require much modification to clear.

not a real problem, the v8 weighs as much as a s50 and can sit back more.
