    Servicing/cleaning Fuel Pump.

Tried searching but can't seem to narrow down to what I'm looking for.

Just curious to know whether the fuel pump for the E30 can be serviced/cleaned. How's difficult to clean it?
And what's the estimated cost for a new fuel pump.

    Thanks

You probably haven't found information on cleaning the pump because it is not worth it or if the pump is fucked you want a new one anyway. I just checked on Bavauto, a 318is fuel pump is 204.95. That's cheap for a brand new pump that will last another decade.

    Keep it slideways!!

generaly u don't clean a fuel pump, if it makes noise, you replace it. you can clean fuel injectors tho. but u need to send them out for that.
