R134 conversion?where is A/C Expansion Valve ? can't find it

hi,there.

I am doing R-12 to R134 converstion now.
I just change the seals,
I would like to change the A/C Expansion Valve since I have spare new one.

But I just couldn't find it near the firewall of Engine Comparementt?
Could Somebody tell me where is the A/C Expansion Valve?
Is it inside the a/c heater box ?

PS behind the console top of the trans tunnel @ the firewall....follow the A/C lines.
It's behind a plastic cover.

so is it under the dash cover inside the car?

What I saw was that 2 pipes that going through the firewall and being inside the car?

Do I have to pull the Dash cover out to see the Expasion Valve?

or is it behind the firewall and next to the blow motor?
