Has anyone attempted to make some good cad/solid works drawings of the e30 suspension. Also would people be willing to try? Today my bump steer on my lowered car is making me angry and i would like to do something about it!

If the front is darting to one side under even compression, like a smooth dip, your rack travel may not be centered. The bumpsteer is pretty neutral (until it is low enough to make sparks) and very equal on the E30 suspension. Also, worn rubber anywhere in the front end can have unpredictable results...sigpic

I'll looking into both problems there for my problem but as to suspension drawings I still think that they would be a good thing to have around. Vortex did a great job of getting together and making some for the MK IV jetta to the point where you could watch the toe change as the wheel went though bump and rebound.
The problem is the darting when there is uneven compression (man hole cover etc) it gets dicey because the control arm arc and the tie rod arc are way different even at stock height.bring it http://athomasmr23.mybrute.com

i have the software and experience to crunch out all the interesting suspension graphs. however, i dont have any measurements. this is the most critical and hardest part though. i measured an impreza once, i had to build up a special jig. and even then, accuracy was limited. 1mm is enough to throw off bump steer.90 E30 325i
