People have run it, people will run it. For people who are interested in power just over short trips then its one of the cheapest way to get it (unless you count having to buy it every time you use it). There are a bunch of kits from Zex, NOS, and the like. Like nitro 325is said he has run a 75shot for a while. I personally wouldnt want a car after that but it does work.
With a 75 shot you might even be able to keep up with a 5-speed 325i in an Auto Eta.
