    Spark plugs

    i bought autolite copper core for my 89 325i. i have no idea how to put it in my car. is there a special way i should do it.. and are there any specs? do i need any special tools?

    make sure its gapped to spec, and put it in?
    dont overtorque, and dont break anything

      You are going to need the correct sized deep well socket to do it. Make sure it goes on square. Other than that, it is the same as any other car.

      Get a little dielectric grease to put on the plug wires when you put it back together.

        if you get the socket for spark plug they have a little rubber boot that help hold the plug in the socket for you their handy

          do u have a 4 door w/ some 5/6 spoke wheels? ur in OC and i saw that e30 on paseo de valencia/ alicia

            You might want to put a dab on anti-seize on the threads of the new plugs.

            And take those autolites back to you ford dealer then stop by your local autoparts store and pick up some boschs.

              got the autolites for free. so theyre no good? thanks for the advice btw everybody

                Autolite are like $1.50/ea, so getting them for free should be no big consideration

                Get some Bosch copper/yttrium plugs, they are only about $2.00/ea
