as i was driving home tonight, i noticed my ABS and battery lights were on, i didnt think much of it and kept driving. then i noticed my temp gauge wa pegged, so i pulled over and popped the hood. i felt the top coolant hose, and it was hot and squishy, i felt the lower one, and it was cold, not luke warm, but cold. but since i had no other way home, i drove home anyway. i had about a seven mile drive home, and when i got home, the gauge was still pegged and the heater was still cold. also my idle was really high, like 1100 rpm... what the hell happened? how do i fix it? also, probably unrelated, but i had to play with my headlight switch to get it to work right.

Generally driving with your temp gauge pegged is a quick way to hurt your motor btw...
