Pull and clean the fuel pump. You end up having to pull the injectors and clean them and replace the O rings. They do stick sometimes when they've sat for a while.

Ha we get cars like that at work all the time (10-20 years old and have been sitting for 2 or so years).

The last one ('98 528i)had to have a fuel tank flush, fuel filter, set of new injectors, and a lot of cuss words yelled at it before it would act decently.

        Good luck.

What about the T belt? a mechanic told me It was a good idea to change it because it sat in one spot so long.

I had it towed to the shop yesterday and they are going to do the timing belt waterpump and all the belts and all of the hoses plus give it a tune and valve adjustment and change all of the fluids tranny diff brakes. Going to cost just about a G and change. This car is a cherry so I think it is worth it.
