So until today my car has run relatively good other than a somewhat rough idle. Today I start the car and the idle is rough as hell and does not get better with time. So I pull out and in first gear if I pushed the throttle past about 4 degrees the car nearly dies and I have to push the clutch in and get off the throttle to keep it going. So I parked it, blew into and reconnected the AFM and whatever plug is directly above the AFM but before the throttle body.
I start the car up again and drive it, and everything seems normal now, but I want to make sure this isn't suddenly going to happen again. When the girlfriend gets back later I plan on pulling those plugs and cleaning them with a swab and some alcohol, because the plug above the AFM is pretty dirty. So, does it sound like I solved the problem, or should I be worried?
