I'm wondering if I have to worry about anything getting over used or damged in my cars current condition. As in having worn ball joints and shot tie rod. Other then feeling the worst ride evar.

Depending on how long you let it go, it could be a major safety issue. You don't want to be driving when a ball joijt or tie rod lets go.
I would get that stuff taken care of asap.
