What is this

Ok so there is some sort of sensor just hanging on the left side of my car near the fog light. Does any one know what it is and where it is supposed to go

I found a similar post.... it seems it may be the obc temp sensor is this correct?

It is the OBC temp sensor, I think it is suppposed to be inserted in the brake duct.

Looks like a temp sensor. In the e46 its located in the Lfender well duct. Where is it supposed to be in a e30? Pardon noobish questions please, Ive been driving a e46 for awhile.

not sure about late models, but mine pops into a hole next to the foglight

They fit into the actual duct for the brakes on late models.

Naw I dont have it plugged in, but if I do hook it up it makes beeping noises and the display doesnt light up haha
