Check engine light comes on after idling at light/stop sign

I noticed a shitty idle today that would bounce down to about 4-500 rpm, back up to 850-900 rpm. Then after stopping at a light, the check engine light comes on after about 8-15 seconds of sitting idle. (yes i counted the time out) When i give it some gas sitting idle, the light quickliy goes off. What could it be?

AFM? 02 sensor? Sounds similar to when I disconnected the AFM and drove, do the check engine light trick and get the code.

I still have not fixed the problem, I have a new ICV, Ignition parts, and Coolant temp sensor on order, I wil tell you what worked when the problem is fixed. I will also email you a PDF file which tells you how to find out what engine code is causeing the "Check Engine" light.

Had the exact problem and I found a small tear in the intake boot. A new intake boot fixed the problem.

umm i think i found the problem. upon looking under the hood, i noticed i no longer had an oil cap....

The problem was 2 intake manifold gaskets had disintegrated, car runs perfect now.
