trying to find this part - fron bumper bmw trim that goes over the lic. plate screws

i've been searching and searching, and I know I saw this somewhere -

It is a black trim piece that goes over the front license plate mounting screws... the letters BMW are embossed on it..

I think it was from BAV ??

Anyone have any idea ?

Pretty sure it just presses in.

no more rusty license plate screws!

I vaguely remember seeing a photo with someone rocking this thing in the member's rides section - any idea ?

I took metal plug caps and painted them black. Fit perfectly and are completely unnoticeable. The caps were like $0.55 apiece.

so i got the piece yesterday -

BMP really cheaped out on this one.

I was told by one of their customer service agents (which I sould have known better than to trust) that the piece snaps into place..

It doesn't.. it's cheap and flimsy, and it has adhesive on one side to stick to your bumpers.. pretty lame.

It also weighs about 35 grammes... but they charges 20 some odd dollars to ship it.

Oh well... next time around, I will just use caps over the license plate screws..
