Tail light not working

I have checked everything and can't seem to find the reason my right rear tail light won't work. After doing a search I think that it might be a conection in the rear light check relay. Any ideas on where on the car the rear light check relay is located? 89 325I

The rear lights check module should be located in the driver's side rear fender.
