High Beams Stuck On, No Temp Gauge, No Heater, No Start

Everything was working perfectly but while sitting at a red light the high beam indicator turned on, the temp gauge died, and the heater stopped blowing. It was still running fine when I pulled over but now it wont start too.

OBC, Windows, Wipers, Radio, and turn signals are still working with ignition on and the tach was working before I shut it down. None of the fuses are blown and I don't sniff electrical fire under the dash, under the hood, or in the trunk.

What on Earth would cause the death of all these things at the same time? I don't even know where/how to start.

Fuse 10 did not appear blown but I swapped it and bam - everything described above started working again.

Check out what is listed for fuse 10:

      Seatbelts
      SI board
      Tach/fuel
      Instrument gauges
      Brake warning system
      Back-up lights
      Obc
      Starter
      Fuel delivery
      Idle speed
      Active check
      Stop lights and cruise control

The heater blower was inoperable and the high beams stayed on without fuse 10 installed.

Could someone yank fuse 10 and tell me if their high beams come on and the heater blower doesnt work with the ignition in the run position?

Just to close the loop on this thread the TRE fuel pump needs 10amp minimum. It'll pop a 7.5 if everything is running correctly. Max draw on the TRE pumps is 14amps. The 1.5mm wires themselves are rated for 15 amps max. There is another circuit with the same wire gauge using 15 amp fuse. I am currently running a 10 and no issues with a few mountain runs under its belt. Good luck guys Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
