Hey guys, very tail-tucked while writing this. im looking for an assembly diagram of the ignition cylinder housing that stays in the steering column, not the part that pulls out with the key and not the maroon part that clips onto the steering column...but in between those two there is a spring-loaded mechanism that the key turns that activates the ignition switch. I removed the key+ignition cylinder, put a new one in and it seemed jammed, wouldnt get to position 2 it would just lock up. pulled it back out and tried to engage it with screwdriver and thats how it came apart on me. i pulled the switch out (maroon part) and rotated that with screwdriver, position 1 and 2 work perfect. when it tries to start it turns over once then stops, like its run out of battery or maybe hydraulic lock? whats strange is before i started getting into the ignition system, it would crank endlessly.
New battery, fuel pump, fuel filter, spark plugs, air filter, oil, key and ignition cylinder.
