    Gas Tank Woes

Hey guys, I'm in the process of swapping everything from a late 325is into an early eta shell. I'm down to the last couple things before I try to start the car and one of these is the fueling situation. Because I swapped in the late model wiring loom, I believe have two options. Option A: I can run the late model fuel pump in the early model tank. Option B: I can swap in the late model gas tank and cut an access hole in the shell for the level sender. For one reason or another, I've had zero desire to roll around in the dirt and get covered in gas trying to switch the tanks out between the two shells, so I'd prefer option A if it's easy enough to re-route the fuel lines. I'll be moving the car to San Diego soon where I'll have a garage and where the weather will be much more manageable, so I'll definitely install the late model tank when I get there. But for now I'm kind of hoping there is an "easy way out" until that time comes. Any suggestions?
