So my m20 has developed a nasty coolant leak on the bottom heater pipe on the firewall (I'm assuming this is the inlet?).
I thought it was the hose that was causing the leak (which connects from the back of the head), but the hose wasn't cracked or ripped or anything. It seems like the pipe itself is cracked somehow. It's really difficult to get a good look at it...
Any tips? I'd hate to take apart my interior to replace the darn thing. Then again, A/C is a must in FL...
How am I supposed to bleed my coolant now? Temporarily, I've connect the inlet and outlet hoses so coolant just flows around the engine. In other words, I've left both inlet and outlet heater pipes unplugged and exposed. I guess this closes the loop and I can bleed the system this way...
