How to remove 88+ front valence?

    Hey guys,

I was curious how do you remove the front valence on the later models. I got the plastic bumper off but now i'm trying to take off the front valence to get to the aux fan, since mine is making a werid noise. So i was wondering if anyone could guide me in taking off the front valence? Thanks in advance.

Locate screws and remove. They are all pretty obviously placed.

I can't remember exactly but the first and only time i did it the screws were obvious and i had it off within a few minutes. I seem to remember a small Torx screw located somewhere below each headlight, but that's the only hitch that sticks out in my mind. Just dive in !

Install H&R pro springs to lower your car, and drive it too far into a parking space. The concrete should do the rest ;)

I was inspecting it the other day. It look like under the headlight on both sides there was a welded spot, thats why i didn't try to take it apart yet, and asked you guys in advance, also it was pretty late aready after i changed my alternator. I"ll give it a try this weekend. Thanks guys.

Now that you mention it i think there's some body-colored body filler where the valance meets the fender which might look like a painted weld. But it's not.

there is a plastic piece holding the valence to the fender(and line the bumper up).... fasteners are on the inside behind the fender liner... other than that everything is pretty stright forward... take out the air vents and there are two fasteners behind those as well

WOW thanks everyone on the quick replies. I really appreciate it. And yeah that fastener is probably what i though was a weld spot.
