    Replacement Catalytic Converter

I would like to replace my catalytic converter. I live in California so I have to deal with emissions restrictions so with that in mind, does anyone have a recommendation on a catalytic converter?

Any issues with just going with a Magnaflow CA legal cat?

Magnaflow Exhaust and Magnaflow Catalytic Converters by Hottexhaust since 1992 ; now buy direct ; made in California to ISO 9001 standards ; EPA and CARB compliant as noted

I’d personally stick with the OEM cat and avoid aftermarket cats as from my experience they tend to have fitment issues and have increased NVH compared to the OEM exhaust.

I think there are weld in replacements that are less expensive (including probably install cost), just as effective, and CA legal. But there is probably nothing wrong with Magnaflow, and considering how you cannot get an OE catalyst for most E30s, there is really no option.

Also, learn how to use the forum and read. A post like this should have gone here https://www.r3vlimited.com/board/for...etrain/exhaust and has probably been covered.
