M3 look-a-like Rear fenders on a basic 3 series

So I was thinking of buying a non-M3 E46, but I really don’t like the rear fenders without the flare thing and so I was wondering if anyone knows if there is an actual way to get the rear fenders to look close to the ones on the M3. I have seen some overfenders on eBay and some “felony form” flares whatever that means, but I don’t know how they look irl.
