    E36M3 fuel pump to E30M3

I wonder if I can use the E36M3 fuel pump located in the tank of my E36M3 3.2l Euro in the tank of my E30M3.
I know I have to just swap the pump only, but is it possible?
If it is, can I then remove the in line pump on the outside of the tank?

    Thanks

I know when most people upgrade to a Walbro in tank set up, they usually delete the in line pump. As for swapping your e36 over to your e30, I have no idea on that

Yes, cause I have that option or buy a Bosch 044 in line pump. 044 pump is very expensive as you may know.

Not only that, is uber loud, I have it in my e30 turbo.

Go with something less overkilll unless your s14 is a race-fuel eater that needs more flow.

The stock one should be possible to use it inside the fuel tank, can't remember if my euro 87 m3 has pre pump inside and the the main pump outisde or just the main fuel pump but some early e30's got two pumps, like my 87 325i (now has one 044). But I managed to dropp a wlabro inside the fuel tank back years ago.

Well, my S14 is now a S50B32 euro. And that beast is running a 5 bar fuel pressure at stock.
I have a in tank feeding pump now, and a stock 86 cosworth in line pump.

Thing is that I already have the stock in tank E36M3 fuel pump from the donor car. So if I can fit that pump into the in tank mechanism in the E30M3, I'd rather do that then spend $260 on a 044 pump.

              bump from the dead.
conclusion? does the e36m in tank pump fit in and function correctly for application on e30 m car (s14)?
