Instrument panel LH turn signal light

    Hello,
2 years ago I purchased a 1990 325i convertible. The change oil lights did not work nor did the LH turn signal light in the instrument panel work, The change oil lights was due to a broken diode. Easily fixed. Due to other issues I later replaced the mainboard the LH light then worked perfectly for 2 days then again quit. Every once in a while it would come back on line. Now it has not come online for 3 months. I installed a new turn signal switch last week, the turn signal switch tested good for continuity from the switch to the first connector. This morning,(Sept. 11, 2012), I bit the bullet and traced the circuit from the turn signal switch connector to the LH turn signal indicator light in the instrument panel. I had continuity from the turn signal switch to and including the light bulb. All the external turn signal lights work perfectly.

I am out of ideas on how to get the LH indicator back online.
    Does anyone have a suggestion?
    Thanks
