Can you find this part number? Distributor cap cover bolts

    Hey guys,

So im trying to find the part number for the 3 8mm bolts that hold the distirbutor cap COVER down. Can someone help me track down the part number? Heres the realoem page you would think they would be listed on, but I dont see it.

    Thanks for the help
    Jon

I'd like to say they come attached to the cover, new. Or see if someone wants to fork over a couple used ones that came out.

I'm sure someone has a more definite answer.

As I recall, the bolts are captive and should come installed on a new cover.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Just to clarify, I'm talking about this cover. Bolts are supposed to come with it?

You never said M3/S14, so I think everyone was thinking M20.

Well according to this they have an 8mm head Step #1

They apparently just thread into the distributor cap (which has its own bolts)

                      http://www.turnermotorsport.com/p-40...ap-e30-m3.aspx

Just find out the correct pitch (look like they might be M8x1.0), figure out a length (Look like they can be pretty short) and make sure to get a washer with them. Any old hardware store can help you outwith this.

And apparently it doesn't look like they are sold with the bolts like a standard M20/M30 cap
