Trade? New m3 strut housings for old

Since no one wants to sell a set of used m3 front strut housings, I am buying a new set. However it is my plan to convert to adjustable coilovers, which requires cutting off the spring perch.

I would much rather cut up a set of old rusty housings, than a new set. So I am wondering if anyone would want to trade their old rusty housings + cash for a set of brand new housings.
