He is implying that these parts are still available. Unfortunately, we all wish that was the case. A lot of websites might show many pieces available for ordering. However, after you pay for them, then wait few weeks with your money in their hands, you will be sent a refund and an email saying the items are back ordered. Ask me how I know.
This is what is justifying the high prices for complete cars. Parts alone are adding up very fast! The demand is high, and folks are trying to rebuild their cars that have been sitting for ages.

I couldn't Agree more with this statement however bmw is starting new production on NLA parts slowly but surelyOriginally posted by TheGoodGuy View PostHe is implying that these parts are still available. Thats why its a smart idea to simply call or email beforehand, asking if the part is indeed available.Originally posted by TheGoodGuy View PostA lot of websites might show many pieces available for ordering. These parts are worth whatever someone is willing to pay these days.....going rate for a PAIR seems to have been in the $600-$700 dollar range. "Ended" on realoem does not necessarily mean a part is NLA and outfits like bmwmercedesparts.com are able to check actual stock in the US and Germany. Do your homework and you'll find there are more parts still available for these cars than you'd think and in many cases cheaper than used ones........Originally posted by e30rapidic View Postwow. How much is a set of M3 skirts worth!?!

For what it's worth, I called the dealer to check stock in the US and stock in Germany before listing the items. This stuff is NLA or else I would not have said it was NLA. There is no indication BMW will ever produce M3 parts again, anyone who claims to have heard something else is simply trolling. One thing I will agree with is that parts in high demand like these are worth simply what someone is willing to pay for them.

There are other sources linked directly to Germany besides the dealership. Part numbers get superseded. Just like when I ordered my black floor mats they were under a part # the dealership could not verify but it was in their system. It all comes down to how hard you look and you will find. Thanks and GLWS!Originally posted by richardb View PostFor what it's worth, I called the dealer to check stock in the US and stock in Germany before listing the items.
