    WTB: e30 m3 rear windows.

Looking for a pair of e30 m3 rear windows. Let me know what you have.

I recommend finding a pair of late model rear windows and painting the chrome strip black with duplicolor black trim paint. I did that on my m3 and you cant tell the difference between it.

Get late model windows though, that way you only have to paint 1 chrome strip, compared to 2.

Haha I guess it's easy to tell what my goal is! Did the 88 m3 not come with shadowline from the factory? And aren't all e30 m3 pop out? I actually did my trim with the SEM trim black paint, then later I found out that you can get oem shadowlin new, so I bought it. I compared the new oem shadowline to my original trim painted trim and the match is close but the oem just has a ever so slight gloss compared to the painted ones. And I'm such a perfectionist that it'd bother me a bit seeing the slight difference. But if I am not able to find an original oem shadowline window I'll just SEM it.

Heres the result of grey primer, then duplicolor black trim paint from autozone. I only painted the bottom strip, you can see where some flaked off when removing masking tape and a little chrome shows. But the match is very close. I am also very particular and I am satisfied with it ;)

Damn that is pretty close, did you use spray primer?

Yes, I'm pretty sure I used duplicolor grey sand-able primer, again from autozone. I didn't sand it, but you can if you are wanting it perfect.
